The head pastor of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Duncan Williams has urged Ghanaians to take the COVAX jab as it shows wisdom and not a lack of faith.
The man of God disclosed to his congregation during his preaching last Sunday that he has taken the vaccine not because he lacks faith in God’s protection but because of wisdom and common sense
Not sparing the activities of the media, the preacher mentioned those information citizens received from the media about the vaccine were lies, imposing fear into people’s hearts and added that, once an individual was not interested in taking the vaccine, he or she should not discourage others from doing so
“It takes faith to take the vaccine. It takes faith. And I said the reason why you are not taking the vaccine is because you are afraid of what will happen to you if you take the vaccine. You are afraid because you are a victim of conspiracy theories on social media” he stated.

Ghanaians had raised eyebrows when the man of God attended ex-president John Jerry Rawlings’ funeral wearing two masks. Some believe that as a man of God he was supposed to apply faith in these trying times as he is able to heal the sick too.

But as the man of God has stated in a number of his preaching during the pandemic, it is wisdom to be cautious and not lack of faith.
