Police arrested the three in dawn swoop at Ve-Koloenu in the Afadjato South District of the Volta region on May 7.
George Agidi,30, also known as ‘Doctor Aggrey’, Adam Razak, 31, and Isaac Nunekpeku, 17 were caught processing Indian hemp.
According to the Regional Police Public Relation Officer, Mr. Dobgatse Prince, “the suspects were arrested while packaging the suspected cannabis into compressed and industrial slabs meant for commercial distribution”.

“A total of eight sacks of the Indian hemp and tools including heavy-duty car jacks and special purpose metal fabrications used in moulding the slabs were also used seized.”
He further added that they would repeat such exercises in other parts of the region to curb illegal narcotic use.
He assured the public of the police Command, is set to assist the police with leads into criminal activities.
