Covid19: Ghana Army and Zoomlion Disinfects Markets Centers in the Bono Region.
The government of Ghana through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has commenced phase two(2) of the Nationwide disinfection of Market Centers, Lorry parks, and toilet facilities in the Bono Region.

As part of the Government’s measures laid down to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the Country Ghana Armed Forces (Ghana Army) and Zoomlion Ghana limited has begun phase two(2) disinfection exercise in the 12 District in the Bono Region.
A total of 100 market centers, bus terminals, and toilets facilities have been disinfected in the Bono Region.
Speaking to the media after a short ceremony to officially commence the exercise, Bono Regional Minister, Hon Evelyn Kumi Richardson called on the general public to adhere to the protocols laid down by Government as the 12 districts in the Bono Region has recorded the COVID 19 cases.
She also added that after the disinfection exercise today, a massive cleanup exercise will follow tomorrow to clean and tidy up the places.
