The Deputy Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in the Volta Region, Philip Caezar Kumah has allegedly beaten his lover to death.
The Volta Regional Police PRO, Sgt. Prince Dogbatse stated in an interview that the deceased has been complaining to friends about the constant abuse meted out to her by her lover, Philip Caezar who works with the Youth Employment Agency in Akatsi North, Volta Region.

Sgt. Prince Dogbatse stated that the victim was constantly advised to report the issue to the police. He said,
“in one such case, she was hospitalized, but after she gained her health back, she went to withdraw the case. There have been various instances where he had abused this lady”.
The victim died at the Ho Teaching Hospital on Monday, 8th March 2021.
