The Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International Ministry, has prophesied that not Ghanaian home or abroad will die as a result of the deadly coronavirus.
The prophecy which is likely to gladden many hearts of Ghanaians comes in the wake of a global surge in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. Already, all of Ghana’s three immediate neighbours, Burkina Faso, Togo and Cote d’Ivoire have confirmed cases of the virus which has so far killed 4, 635 people.
The World Health Organisation puts the cases worldwide at 126, 380.
Leading his congregation to pray during a Church Service, the renowned preacher also declared 72-hour fasting and prayer to fight the “evil” disease.
“I’m declaring a 72-hours prayer. There comes a time when we must demonstrate and show who we trust; its either we trust God, believe God or the arm of flesh. Ladies and gentlemen, this virus is an imminent danger. It’s a danger against humanity, its conspiracy against the human race, it is evil; that’s why we will not put our trust in the arm of flesh, that’s why we shall call upon the name of the Lord. For it is written: ‘Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered,” Duncan Williams prayed.
He added that “there will be no loss of life of any Ghanaian home and abroad by the reason of this virus.”
