Ghana Post Launches Scuttle Parcel Box
The Ghana Post has launches its first ever delivery service called ‘Scuttle Parcel Box‘ under the management of Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour at its headquarters on the 11th of August 2022. Many dignitaries, from clergymen to honorable members, ministers, board of directors, distinguished guests, and the media, attended the launch at the headquarters of Ghana Post.
The Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh gave the opening prayers for the ceremony, and the chairman for the program was the Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, the minister for Public Enterprise. The chairman started his speech by hailing the managing director for this initiative. Especially since he was a young man, he didn’t join the masses to complain but rather gave out solutions to problems surrounding him.
Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour gave his speech, thereby acknowledging the dignitaries, ministers, board of directors, and all protocols for coming to this event . He went ahead to name this program “historic.” He also appreciated everyone’s presence .
Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour said this is the scuttle parcel box, which is the umbilical cord of all courier services in Ghana. He went further to explain how the post office came into existence. According to him, Ghana Post has been in active service to the people of Ghana for 171 years and it has gone through many changes, and the ones they don’t want to sideline themselves from is the digitalization period we are in now .
He stated that they carefully diagnosed every problem laid on them and had come up with reliable solutions that were invented solely by Ghana and happened to be one of a kind . The special guest of honor was the Hon. Godfred Odame, Attorney General and Privileges of Justice.
The scuttle box is a door-to-door initiative to deliver the very best courier services to Ghanaians. This came into existence through two grown companies; that’s the Ghana Post and the Collins T. Enterprise. He stated that whether at home or away, one should have confidence that their items will be delivered safely.
According to Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour, the purpose of this initiative is to show that we can find possible solutions to every problem we encounter as Ghanaians. He stated that they are working hard for bye laws to be enacted in the near future so that scuttle boxes become mandatory for all citizens. He urged real estate developers to include scuttle box designs in their building plans because they have come to stay.
The scuttle box is your own personal post office on your doorstep. The box is made of solid metal that can’t be damaged easily, so it is theft-proof for its subscribers or users. The most exciting item is the theft system that ensures that the only person to get access to the safe box is the owner only .
He said subscribers of scuttle box will never regret joining the initiative. He said the letter boxes of people will be linked to the scuttle box, which will enable easy delivery to individuals irrespective of their distance if they have a scuttle box .
He ended his speech by asking individuals and companies present to join them to become early subscribers of the scuttle box and make it possible. The Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh gave the closing prayer and called Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour to the stage, blessed him and asked for God’s endless protection for him and the good work he is doing for the nation.
