His supporters have meanwhile been playing back events of the past by the sitting MP, Okyem Aboagye of sharing cars to the delegates in the party’s last primaries in the constituency in 2015.
Commenting on the issue, Daniel Okyem Aboagye in an interview said, he never engaged in vote buying. When asked specifically about the issuance of cars to delegates in 2015, he said, he only offered the vehicles for work and pay purposes and not to induce delegates.
“I provided them the means but with no interest. It was work and pay so that, they can have enough money to finance the party” Okyem Aboagye said.
