Does your love interest always expect to see you without making any effort to do so? If he expects you to always be on his time and never goes out of his way to plan a date for you, he’s probably not ready for a real relationship.
His conversation is always only surface level.
A mature guy is not afraid or incapable of exploring ideas in depth. An immature guy is either unwilling or unable to give any level of stimulating dialogue. He’s only interested in surface-level interaction with you, so his conversations with you reflect that.

A guy with ambition is a guy who knows what he wants and is willing to work for it. If he wants a relationship, he will chase that and achieve it, just like the rest of the things he wants in life. An immature guy will lack direction in life in general, and more specifically, in dating life as well.
