One of The Multimedia Group’s flagship programmes, the Super Morning Show (SMS) has won the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Radio Programme of the Year for 2022.
This is the second time in three years that the socio-economic-political talk show has won the enviable award.
A citation by the Institute said, “Week in, week out, you have continuously kept your audience glued to their sets with a programme that leaves them rooting for more.

“With a blend of information, entertainment and recreation, you are able to serve your diverse audience with excellent ‘dishes’ that leave them yearning for more after the programme ends.”
CIMG acknowledged that the SMS remains a “Platform where the discussion of issues affecting the country are discussed with solutions proffered, and also to give a voice to the population by holding duty bearers accountable.”

It lauded the Show, which has “exhibited a good knowledge of your market by your ability to know what to serve them on a daily basis thus making it difficult for one to predict the service before it is delivered.”
“You have also used the programme to transform sectors of the economy, educate on good pronunciations and road safety tips, among others and these have become hallmarks that your patrons celebrate and tout you for,” the Institute added.
The 34th edition of the awards ceremony was held under the theme, ‘Using marketing as a tool for economic recovery.’
