Simon Okafor Chukudi, the 46-year-old Nigerian, who absconded after testing positive for Covid-19 has been arrested by the Upper West Regional Police Command and handed over to the local COVID-19 team led by Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih
Seven persons who came into conatct with Mr Okafor have been identified and subsequently quarantined at the Upper West regional hospital.
The Nigerian was under surveillance at his house awaiting results for his Covid-19 test when he took to his heels last Monday. The results eventually turned out to be positive.
He was arrested on Friday morning at his hideout, a compound house close to the Hilla Liman Technical University.
