Ghanaians are currently in shock about the sudden demise of the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to credible reports, he died on Thursday morning, November 12, 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra following a short illness he battled.
It is said that Rawlings was admitted to the hospital a few days ago due to an undisclosed ailment. He reportedly took ill after the burial of his mother last month (October).

Well, in a twist, a laboratory scientist and newscaster, Emmanuel Samani has confirmed on his online portals that Rawlings died as a result of coronavirus.
