The NPP Loyal Ladies in Jaman North, Bono Region, have appealed to the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Stephen Ayensu Ntim, and other national and regional executives to join the grassroots campaign in the constituency actively.
According to the group, the presence of top executives is crucial to achieving the party’s goal of “breaking the 8” and winning the upcoming elections.
Speaking to journalists during a Victory Walk at Duadaso No. 1 and 2, Madam Dorothy Ntow, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Jaman North NPP Loyal Ladies, noted the disparity in grassroots involvement between the NPP and NDC national leaders.
She pointed out that while the NPP’s Stephen Ntim and the NDC’s Johnson Asiedu Nketia are from the Bono Region, Nketia has been more visible in local campaign efforts.
Ntow stressed the importance of the NPP’s leadership joining the grassroots to secure victory in the 2024 elections, emphasizing that the NDC, led by John Mahama, offers nothing beneficial to the nation.
In response to accusations of involvement in illegal mining (galamsey), Mr Enock Nyarko, the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Jaman North, dismissed the claims as baseless.
He countered that the NDC members accusing him are, in fact, the key figures behind illegal mining activities in the district.
Nyarko also highlighted his contributions to local development, despite still being an MP, and expressed his commitment to improving the fortunes of the Jaman North Constituency if elected to Parliament.
He urged constituents to disregard the allegations and focus on his development track record.
