A lot of Ghanaians had mentioned their doubts about the vaccines on social media as they believe the AstraZeneca jab is meant to erase the black race. The president has assured that the vaccines are safe and meant to protect the people of Ghana indicating that the vaccination activities which started yesterday are meant to prove the vaccine’s efficacy.

The AstraZeneca vaccine was declared safe for use by the Food and Drugs Authority. The president mentioned in his last address to the nation that he hopes the country will be able to produce its own vaccines and has set up a committee with Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, the former minister for environment, Science and Technology, and Innovation as the chairman to head the course.
