The Vice President, Dr Bawumia addressing the NPP Wings and youth in a Conference at Accra considered that the role of the youth is going to be very critical for the NPP party in winning the year elections.
“Over the last three and a half year, the NPP government have develop and implement many initiatives design to place the youth in the forefront of National Development”.
“Looking at the jobs we have created and still creating, proper account of it ,and full time equivalent job creation is over 2M full time jobs in the public and private sectors since 2007and this is inclusive of government job creation programs and initiatives such as planting for foods and jobs ,NABCO Graduates programs”he said.
Some Initiatives And Investments Under The NPP Administration-Vice President.
He said the NPP government have established a National Job Recruitment Agency through the Youth Employment Agencies to match the Ghanaian youth with job openings.

Again, the vice president mentioned some initiatives carried out by the NPP government “we have supported youth-owned enterprises and initiatives through the NEIP, the president business support program, the Green House Villages initiative, Enable youth One District One Factory initiative, Students Entrepreneur initiative, Presidential Empowerment program for women with disabilities and soo many others”.

He furthermore listed some investment made under the turn of the President beginning with the investment made in Free Senior High School and providing the Youth with basic tools they need to engage with the economy and mobilize the resources for Investments in schools and the stem program.
“We have invested in building ten multi-purpose youth and sports resource centers of excellence to provide recreational sporting and entrepreneurial training facilities, including FIFA standard Football pitch, these and many other investments have been made under the Akuffu Addo administration “he added.
