President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has jabbed former President John Mahama over allegations that he always sleep when travelling across the country rendering him unable to see how damaged roads in the country are.
He said he doesn’t sleep on our roads but also feels the bumps when travelling to other parts of the country.
Speaking in an interview on Thursday, October 21, 2021, with Kwame Sefa Kayi on the Kokrokoo show, the President denied the claims
“I don’t sleep, I feel the bumps too when touring the regions by road” Akuffo Addo said.
Meanwhile, former President Mahama has over the years been accusing President Akufo-Addo of sleeping on the job since he assumed office.
The President further said his government is trying to construct good roads but Ghanaians should have little patience and not complain too much because there are insufficient funds.
“Ghanaians should cry small because the money is not there,” he said jokingly.
