BONO REGION(BEREKUM ) –
The Food and Drugs Authority [FDA] has cautioned the public against the belief that there is 3 months grace period on expired products.
The Senior Registration Officer for FDA, Richard Kyeremeh Yeboah says, the products expire at the exact expiry date so consumers should consider the expiry date when purchasing any product.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Ghana National Association of traditional healers- Berekum branch.
Meanwhile, the Bono Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Traditional Healers Association, Richmond Agyei complained about the previous and current government’s lack of interest in assisting them to produce local medicines for treatment.

He however warned some people who secretly sell unregistered local medicines to join their association and get required training to produce good herbal medicines.
