A piece of information convened has it that the former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports under the former Jerry John Rawlings regime, Mr. Sylvester Azantilow is dead.

Though, the cause of his death not yet known.

This came to light through the family head who made a public announcement on the death of the former honorable minister.

The announcement confirming his death from the family reads as: “The Head of the ROYAL AYIETA FAMILY, Paul Awentami Afoko. The Sanciem Nab and the entire members of the Builsa traditional council, deeply regret to announce the sudden demise of Hon. Sylvester Ateteng Azantilow, a Prince of the Royal House of Sanderna which sad event occurred on Monday the 20th of July, 2020. He was a former MP for Builsa North, a Deputy Minister for Youth & Sports and a Deputy National Director for NADMO.

Burial will be on Saturday the 8th of August at Sandema at the Royal Burial Grounds. Funeral arrangements will be announced later”.

However, family sources revealed that he would be buried on the 8th of August at Sandema at the Royal Burial Grounds.
