The Black Queens will face the Super Falcons today at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, in Nigeria ahead of the qualifiers being played for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The goal of this match is expected to qualify the winning team for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
In the opening leg of the tie, the fierce animosity between Ghana and Nigeria will be reignited. On Monday, October 18, 2021, Ghana’s team arrived in Nigeria.
One of these two giants will be absent from the African Women’s Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Morocco next year due to the new qualification format adopted by CAF.
The event will also serve as a qualifier for the FIFA World Cup finals in Australia and New Zealand in 2023, which will include 32 teams.
