Sampson Wolanyo Deklu, an Associate Agent at the Bureau of Public Safety has urged the Ghana Police Services to be Proactive and not reactive in fighting crimes in the country.
According to him, violent crimes are on the rise and the police must endeavour to protect the lives of citizens.
“The police must go the extra mile in protecting the safety of the citizenry,” he said.
Speaking on Homebase TV current affairs programme “Ghana se SEN’ hosted by RSM Kofi Doe Lawson he stated that, the fight against violence, must be carried out in a proactive manner instead of a reactive way to prevent violence.
“The police service must ensure that criminals do not take them by surprise before they react but must arrest ill-intended criminals and prosecute them,” he said
