What a loss for African storytelling but what a life lived and what a legacy of stories and adventures for future generations to enjoy. Ama Ata Aidoo was my introduction to literature in the realest sense. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/mVnWBUuSyS

An icon of storytelling in this country. Changes(the novel) meant more to me than many other books written by Ghanaian authors.
Rest in peace, my legend. Ama Ata Aidoo. pic.twitter.com/v4p8NZINwT

✍️In this article I wrote back in August 2020, I asked what an African literary giant like Ama Ata Aidoo has in common with Nigerian afrobeat artiste, @BurnaBoy.

The answer was Twice As Tall.

Rest in Peace, Legend! ?️https://t.co/mcQO3bxA2U
