The Xornametor Foundation has successfully inaugurated a three-classroom pavilion at CK Korpe and Tapa Abotoase, demonstrating its commitment to improving education accessibility and safety for children in the Biakoye district.

Constructed by the foundation, the pavilion is designed to offer a secure and conducive learning environment for students who previously faced the daily challenge of crossing a lake to attend school.

The initiative was prompted by the alarming risks faced by students in the Overbank area, navigating the hazardous task of crossing the lake. The newly built pavilion stands as a testament to the foundation’s dedication to ensuring that every child has access to quality education within a safe environment.

Torgbui Xornametor I, also known as Vincent Kaledzi in his private life and the founder of the Xornametor Foundation, expressed his joy at the successful completion of the pavilion.

He emphasised the crucial importance of prioritizing the safety of students, stating, “It is unacceptable for children to risk their lives daily to receive an education. We believe that every child has the right to learn in a safe environment, and the opening of this pavilion is a significant step in that direction.”

Local community leaders and residents have also conveyed their gratitude for the foundation’s efforts in addressing the safety concerns of the students.
