WPL 2025/26: Army Ladies end first round in first position in Southern Zone

Army Ladies finished the first round of the 2025/26 Women’s Premier League at the top of the Southern Sone following their win over Soccer Intellectuals.

The Security Service side recorded a 2-1 victory over Intellectuals to move above Jonina Ladies after game week 9.

Jonina were bled to a goalless draw by newcomers Oak Ladies at the Pobiman Sports Complex over the weekend.

Hasaacas Ladies kept their title hopes alive with a late win over Samartex Ladies in Takoradi with defender Abiba Issah scoring the decider.

The win leaves them in third position behind Army and Jonina.
