Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has assured that the government remains fully committed to honouring its debt obligations without delay.

He emphasised that every outstanding debt would be serviced in full and on time, reinforcing the government’s dedication to maintaining financial credibility.

Speaking in an interview with Channel One TV on Wednesday, March 12, Dr Forson reaffirmed the government’s position on debt management.

“We will service every debt to the penny, and we will pay on time,” he stated, underscoring the administration’s commitment to fiscal responsibility.

His assurance comes at a time when Ghana is working to stabilise its economy following recent debt restructuring efforts.

The government has been focused on ensuring financial discipline while meeting its obligations to creditors and investors.
