Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, says West Ham United stuck to the instructions of head coach, David Moyes, in their 3-1 comeback win over Backa Topola.

The Serbian club stunned the Hammers when they took the lead two minutes into the second half.

However, West Ham managed to score three in the last half hour, with Kudus involved in two of the goals.

Speaking after the game, the Ghana star said the English side intended to score in the first half to control the game, but it didn’t materialise.

“We wanted the goals in the first half so that we can control the game but we didn’t have any,” Kudus said.

“We went down but the winning mentality from the guys was good. We kept doing what the coach taught us and the results came afterward.

Asked about what the message from David Moyes was in the first half team tal, Kudus said: “The final quality you know we dominated the game but we were not able to score. We knew we had to improve the final quality in the second half, hopefully, we had it.”

Kudus was involved in the lead up to the equaliser, which was credited to him at first, but was later awarded as an own goal.

He then converted a header in the 70th minute to give West Ham the lead before Soucek added the third.
