Wa Power SC will aim to revive their season on Sunday when they host newly promoted Bolga All Stars at the Wa Malik Jabir Stadium in the 2025/26 Division One League campaign.
The Wa-based side have endured an inconsistent start to the campaign, managing one win, two draws, and a loss in four matches. They have scored twice and conceded once so far, a reflection of their defensive resilience but attacking struggles.
Coach David Nyaaba admits his side’s results have fallen short of expectations but insists the team is working hard to improve.
“We know results haven’t been the best so far this season after our first game, and we are working tirelessly on the training ground to get our winning form back as soon as possible,” he said.
He noted the team’s defensive progress but acknowledged their scoring issues. “Defensively, we have improved as we have kept three clean sheets in a row, but scoring is our major priority at the moment,” Nyaaba added.
With Bolga All Stars sitting bottom of the table, Wa Power will count on home support to secure their second victory of the season.
