The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has opened its new national secretariat at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

The office space was generously donated by UPSA under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abednego F. O. Amartey.

It signifies a pivotal moment in the association’s journey towards enhancing the welfare and effectiveness of lecturers in Ghana.

The office is strategically located within the premises of the Nii Amon Kotei Hostel, offering a central and accessible hub for UTAG members.

Acting Director of the UPSA Business Development Centre, Mr Robert Gyeke-Darko, who handed over the facility to the UTAG executives, noted that the gesture was in line with UPSA’s tradition of hosting and supporting various professional associations on its campus.

The President of UTAG, Professor Solomon Nunoo, expressed his delight with the new offices and emphasised the profound impact the new national secretariat would have on the association’s operations.
