Two arrested over murder and robbery at Tweapease-Aboo

Residents of Tweapease-Aboo in the Ashanti Region, have been left in shock and fear following the arrest of two young men in the vicinity, allegedly involved in the murder and robbery of a 20-year-old, Kofi Mensah.

The suspects, identified as Solomon Opoku and Collins Aboagye, were arrested through intelligence-led police operations after several days of meticulous investigation by the Ashanti South Regional Police Command.

According to police reports, the two suspects attacked and killed the victim on October 06, 2025, and escaped with his Haojin motorbike.

However, their luck ran out when Solomon Opoku attempted to sell the stolen motorbike at Council Quarters, Obuasi, leading to his arrest.

Further investigations led officers to Kokotesua, another suburb of Obuasi, where Collins Aboagye, the second suspect, was apprehended.
