Tudu Center calls for more private sector inclusion in gov't delegations to international events

The Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Tudu Center for Leadership and Development, Osman Mubarik Abu, has called on African governments to prioritise the inclusion of the private sector in their delegations to international events.

He emphasised the need for private sector inclusion, saying “the Private Sector, when allowed to be part of government’s business delegations, witnesses and appreciates every single business discussion during meetings.”

Mr Mubarik Abu explained that the private sector drives economic activities and growth, and urged African leaders to present concepts that stimulate job creation and encourage international partnerships to tap into Africa’s potential.

Speaking at the 2025 World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington DC, he reminded African leaders of the urgency of addressing unemployment among young people.
