The Black Satellites of Ghana booked their spot in the semi-finals of the 2025 WAFU–B U20 Boys Cup with a gritty 1-0 victory over Benin at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Prampram.
Both teams failed to lead an attack and score in the first half.
Just before halftime, forward Kelvin Nkrumah received a second yellow card, leaving the Black Satellites with 10 men for the entire second half.
Despite the setback, winger Bless Ege was able to score in the 52nd minute, giving Ghana the lead.
Benin were unable to even the score, securing Ghana the win. With the victory, Ghana finished second in Group A with four points.
