HBTVGHANA has gathered that the Mission House of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Duayaw – Nkwanta in Tano North Municipal of the Ahafo region has been burgled by thieves.

According to the report, the thieves broke into the Mission House occupied by Catechist -Charles Koranteng while Church was in session.

“After the close of Church around 10:30 am I noticed my room has been burgled. Decoder, deck, and five sets of speakers. They also took away my wife’s handbag, 4 pieces of cloths. They also took away my son’s school bag. The thieves went to the kitchen to steal tomatoes, garden eggs, onion among others. Food such as banks that had been cooked and soup were also taken away “The Catechist narrated to Bryt FM Correspondent.

He added “the following day we had a hint about the suspects so the Police stormed their rooms and arrested two young men at midnight”

The high incidents of theft and burglary in Duayaw Nkwanta Community are a worry to many residents.

Many Households, Schools, and Churches have fallen victim to the menace.
