Singer, Wendy Shay has opened up about the car accident she was involved in.

Speaking in her first interview on Hitz FM since the incident, she claimed that the car accident was not a natural happening.

According to her, she is aware of the persons behind the incident. Therefore cautioned the public to desist from blaming her manager, Bullet/

She insist he had hand no hand in her accident.

“Those who wanted to kill me, they know themselves, and they’re trying to put it on Bullet. It wasn’t Bullet. It wasn’t a normal attack. What I can say is that they know themselves, but I am not going to mention their names. But they can never kill me,” she stated.

To back her claim, Wendy Shay questioned the circumstances of the accident, saying, “People were saying, ‘Oh, it’s the wrangler,’ but how can a big tipper truck loaded with rocks hit me, and the tipper truck somersaulted, and my car was rather intact?” she quizzed.

At midnight, a few minutes into Sunday (September 10, 2023), a tipper truck crashed into Wendy Shay’s Jeep Wrangler from behind on the Kwabenya ACP highway.

Narrating her ordeal after her brush with death, she said: “I was heading home; I had finished creating some content for my new song, ‘Every Man Cheats. I had gotten to my junction, and all of a sudden, I felt a big push from behind. I remember all I was screaming was Jesus, and then I entered into a gutter.

“I didn’t even realise when my head hit the dashboard, and I realized I was blacking out, so they had to rush me to the hospital.”

According to her, “It was a very big shock, no one saw this coming. For me to be here, it’s by God’s grace.”

Wendy Shay finds strength in new single ‘Love Me Now’ following traumatic ordeal

Meanwhile, Wendy Shay is back in the spotlight with an insightful release. Shaken by what could have been her final moment, the singer voices some powerful words we can all benefit from reflecting on in her latest Amapiano-infused single, ‘Love Me Now,’ produced by MOG Beatz.

In a shocking turn of events, ‘Love Me Now’ would have been but a new addition to Wendy Shay’s list of unreleased songs on September 7. Today, in the wake of the traumatic ordeal she suffered, it serves as an abrupt reminder about how fleeting life is.

That is why the ‘Survivor’ hitmaker took to social media to share a heartfelt message with her fans upon announcing the single that made many feel uneasy, knowing it could have been a posthumous release.

“I recorded this song on 7.09.2023 [and] had an accident on 10.09.2023. The lyrics in this song is making sense to me now…,” Wendy Shay shared with her 2.9M followers on Instagram.“Some people will only love you when you are dead… I am alive by the grace of God. Thanks to GOD, my family, team, and my Fans for their support and prayers. Ghana please say a big Thank you to these celebs who showed me love when I needed it most.”
