Principal kingmakers and elders of the Ngleshie Alata Paramount Royal Stool at James Town in the Greater Accra Region have called on the owners of the media houses to muster courage not to assign their reporters to cover what they described as controversial press conference scheduled to be organised  by the Dzasetse of Plenor, Nii Ayinsah Sasraku III.
They pointed out that the controversial press conference scheduled to be held  today ( Tuesday July 29, 2025 ) at the James Town Royal Paramount palace around 9 AM prompt violated the traditions and customs of the Ngleshie Alata Paramount Royal Stool and that the media houses should disassociate themselves from such event
According to the kingmakers led by Nii Akuntua Kojo X, their caution to the owners of the media houses has become very necessary because Dzasetse of Plenor, Nii Ayinsah Sasraku III who planned to hold such a press conference has no traditional capacity and authority to set the record straight on the subject matter.
They stressed that they have good working relationships with the media houses but “we are pleading to you that you should desist from assigning your reporters to cover this useless and unnecessary press conference,” stressing that the public should not mind Nii Nii Ayinsah Sasraku III and his followers.
They were of the view that if they fail to comply with a directive and this leads to unrest or violence they should blame themselves.”
“We are saying that the organisers including Nii Danso Royal Dynasty family of Dansoman have no locus to hold such press conference, so the public should ignore them.
“If the Paramount of Sempe Traditional Area Nii Adote Otinto II, has spoken to claim the ownership of the land belonging to the Ngleshie Alata Paramount Royal Stool it is not the traditional responsibility of the sub-chief under the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council to hold the press conference to react to the statement of Nii Adote Otinto II, but such traditional power lies on the kingmaker of Ngleshie Alata Paramount Royal Stool,” they declared.
In a letter dated Monday July 28, 2028 signed by the Attorney for Principal Kingmaker of Ngleshie Alata Paramount Royal Stool, Nii Akuntua Kojo X, Nii Ayi Okufourbour, who doubles as Ngleshie Lafa Barima Mantse intercepted by this news outlet reads in part;”It has come to my notice through all platforms known as Ngleshie Alata Council of Ambassadors that you intend to hold a press conference on the 29th July 2025 theme:”Reclaiming Ngleshie Alata Stool lands and setting the record Straight.”
I strongly ask you to refrain yourself from organising such a press conference because in the first place you lack the requisite capacity to speak on the theme that you have chosen.
You are not one of the qualified persons who can speak on such matters. As it needs it is only the Ngleshie Alata Dzaasetse (Nii Okpe V) or the kingmakers who can speak to such issues and not Sub-divisional Chief like you.
You are just a Dzaasetse of plenor and you cannot assume the right to talk for the Ngleshie Alata Stool.
You must know that Sempe does not own any land in Ngleshie Alata and you are admonished to stop thus social media war which Ngleshie Alata should not be dragged into.
If Sempe claims Ngleshie Alata has taken lands belonging to Sempe, the Sempe should proceed to court but not to engage in social media war.
The case titled:”NII OKPE V & 2ORS VRS NII AKWEI BONSU & ANOTHER IN SUIT NO: GJ/1034/2024 seek to prohibit you from acting in such matters.
Your intention is well known since your actions are intended to create confusion and mayhem in Ngleshie Alata that your parochial interest.
Let it be known that you are not the occupant of the Ngleshie Alata Stool and you must not arrogate to yourself such powers and position.
Due to these acts of yours, you were convicted in the contempt case tiltled: THE REPUBLIC VRS NII AYINSAH SASRAKU & 3 ORS, EX-PARTE, NII OKPE V, SUIT NUMBER: CR/0447/2022 where the Lawyer of the Applicant pleaded that you should not be given custodial or prison sentence since that was going to be your second taste of the Nsawam Prison.
You are also aware that there is Dzaasetse of Ngleshie Alata but you continue to do things in disrespect to him and the kingmakers.
YOU ARE WARNED NOT TO ORGANISE THE SAID PRESS CONFERENCE SINCE THIS BATTLE SHOULD NOT BE MADE A SOCIAL MEDIA WAR.
