Stratcomm Africa holds Brand Reputation Week 2025 to strengthen SME communication capacity

Strategic Communications Africa Ltd (Stratcomm Africa) has hosted the 2025 edition of Brand Reputation Week, a three-day capacity-building programme.

The event is designed to equip Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the agricultural value chain with practical communication skills for business growth.

The event took place from 19 – 21 November 2025 at Stratcomm Africa’s Training Centre in Accra.

Held under the theme “Communicating for Growth in the Digital Age,” the programme brought together 20 SMEs, mobilised in partnership with the Ghana Enterprise Agency (GEA).

The initiative is part of Stratcomm Africa’s commitment to advancing sustainability, promoting responsible business communication, and supporting SME competitiveness through effective strategic communication.

Speaking ahead of the closing ceremony, Madam Esther Cobbah, Founder and CEO of Stratcomm Africa, stated:

“At Stratcomm Africa, we believe that communication is not just an add-on to Brand Reputation Week is part of our commitment to ensuring that SMEs, especially those in the agricultural value chain, are equipped with the tools they need to communicate effectively in a highly competitive marketplace.

“When SMEs communicate well, they grow, and when they grow, communities and economies grow with them. “

Brand Reputation Week 2025 featured high-level presentations, practical workshops, a business clinic, and a closing mini-exhibition that allowed SMEs to showcase their products and communication improvements developed during the programme.

Day One focused on the fundamental principles of strategic communication for SMEs. Participants received opening remarks from Stratcomm Africa and key partners, including GEA, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), and the Mastercard Foundation.

The day’s training session, led by Samuel Ato Afful, Marketing Communications Manager of Stratcomm Africa, explored understanding communication needs, shaping brand stories, identifying audiences, and strengthening visibility.

Day Two provided practical instruction on digital branding and organisational growth.

Sessions included:

  • Organisational Development and Team Cohesion” led by Madam Esther Cobbah, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa
  • “Leveraging Digital Communication for Business Growth” led by Kelvin Agyapong, Digital Communications Strategist at Stratcomm Africa.

This was followed by a hands-on SME Business Clinic, where participants received tailored one-on-one consultation from Stratcomm Africa consultants.

Day Three hosted the closing ceremony, featuring participant testimonials, remarks from partners, certificate presentations, a mini exhibition, and a speed networking session.

The Brand Reputation Week is a Stratcomm Africa initiative designed to:

  • Strengthen communication capacity among SMEs
  • Support sustainable and inclusive business growth
  • Demystify the perception of Stratcomm Africa as an “expensive” agency
  • Provide accessible communication solutions tailored to SME realities
  • Reinforce

Stratcomm Africa’s commitment to sustainability-focused communication

Through this programme, SMEs gain hands-on guidance in brand positioning, digital visibility, reputation management, and organisational communication.
