St. James Seminary cruises into quarters, first timers Mankessin SHTS & Presby SHS eliminated

They warned they did not travel to Cape Coast to sightsee, and they meant it.

Regional champions St. James Seminary SHS has marched into the quarter-final stage of the NSMQ 2025 after knocking out Mankessim SHTS and Presby SHS, Suhum, in a decisive five-round contest.

Presby SHS, Suhum, struggled to find momentum from the start, while Mankessim held on strongly for two rounds before fading out when it mattered most.

St. James, however, maintained their dominance from the very first bell and never let go of the lead, finishing the contest with 54 points, ahead of Mankessim’s 38 points and Presby SHS, Suhum’s 16 points after the fifth round.
