Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum has been hospitalised following her remarkable attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest individual singing marathon.
After completing an impressive 126 hours and 52 minutes on Friday, December 29, 2023, she has been admitted to the hospital to reset her body system.
Afua is currently in a comfortable hospital, undergoing treatment to restore her system after depriving herself of sleep for several days.
“I’m in a very comfortable hospital ward to tune my system back to how it was before because I denied myself sleep for five days,” Afua Asantewaa told UTV’s United Showbiz on December 30, 2023.”
Commencing her sing-a-thon on Christmas Eve, Asantewaa achieved an impressive feat by concluding it on Friday, December 29, after a remarkable 126 hours and 52 minutes.
The validation of this potential record is currently pending from Guinness World Record judges.
