Antoine Semenyo and Mohammed Salisu will play no part of Ghana’s game against South Korea after leaving the Black Stars camp.
The duo returned have returned to their respective clubs according to a statement released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Sunday, November 16.
Semenyo featured in the 2025 Kirin Challenge Cup against Japan, captaining the Black Stars in the defeat to the Samurai Blue last Friday.
However, the Bournemouth forward leaves camp due to a left anterior talo-fibula ligament sprain, which was aggravated during the game against Japan. Semenyo was replaced by Prince Kwabena Adu in the 55th minute.
Salisu suffers from a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain, as confirmed by Monaco and the Black Stars medical team.
With these injuries, together with Francis Abu’s earlier injury, head coach Otto Addo has 19 players left for the friendly match against South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
