Wenchi Central SDA Church in the Wenchi West District of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of the Mid – West Ghana Conference has celebrated Aged Day of the Church.
The celebration aimed to recognize the contribution of the aged to the church and their communities and give them comfort and encouragement in their trial moments.
The church also organized a get-together for its members and the aged and presented T-shirts to 26 of them.

The occasion was also used to dedicate a GH¢ 15,000.00 public address system (P.A system) acquired by the church.
Speaking at the ceremony the President of the Mid – West Ghana Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Paul Twumasi Danquah praised the aged for their contribution to the church and the nation and urged them to serve their creator diligently and continue to be role models for the youth
Pastor Paul Twumasi Danquah said Covid-19 is a threat to everyone and urged them to stay safe by diligently observing the laid down protocols of the Covid-19 pandemic to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus.
