Former First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama has debunked rumours concerning her husband, former president and flagbearer of NDC, John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement signed on 6th August 2020, she stated that Mr Dramani Mahama has been dragged by vile rumours of supposed infidelities as one is circulating on social media between two young ladies fighting over an unnamed man.
” Sadly over the course of his dedicated public service, he has been dogged by vile rumours of supposed infidelities, the nastiest which occurred a few days ago as a result of a social media fight between some two young women over an unnamed man.”
She stated that she expected Ghanaians to leave him in peace since they chose not to vote for him in the last elections but certain forces are dragging his name in the mud.
She also stated that her husband has been faithful over the years of marriage and although he is not perfect, none of the things he has been accused of is true.

Mrs Lordina Mahama further advised Ghanaians to treat the latest rumours with contempt and also advised the two young women involved in the act on social media to be mindful of dragging innocent people into their personal problems.
“President Mahama is my husband and mine alone. He is not a community husband.” She stated.
