Gomoa Nyanyanor, arguably the biggest of all the Gomoa communities, yesterday 28th of February 2021 witnessed a bloody scene during the installation of Nana Doudo Wiabo (6).
It will be recalled that Dr. Nana Wiabo V, died in August 2020 and as custom demands, there is the need to install a new chief, it is during the ceremony to install the new chief that another faction emerged with a different chief.
A misunderstanding ensued between the supporters of these factions and in the melee, one man sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to the Kasoa hospital where he gave up the ghost.

Meanwhile, HomeBase Tv reporter caught up with the newly installed chief, Nana Doudo Wiabo (6), and this is what he outlined as his plan for the people of Gomoa Nyanyanor;
