Rotary Club of Accra-Odadee AOGA suupports Awaawaa2 Centre with essential items

The Rotary Club of Accra-Odadee AOGA has extended meaningful support to the Awaawaa2 Centre with a successful donation of learning aids and essential items, reaffirming its commitment to improving the lives of children with developmental needs.

The donation, which was made to support early learning, therapy and daily care at the Centre, included an all-in-one computer, a printer, projectors and a whiteboard to enhance teaching and learning activities.

In addition, the Club provided toiletries, hand Sanitisers and sanitary products, kitchen towels, toilet tissues, therapy and sensory balls to support developmental therapy sessions, assorted toys to encourage play-based learning, as well as fans to improve comfort within the learning environment.

This initiative reflects the vision of the President of the Rotary Club of Accra-Odadee AOGA, Rotarian Mother Teresa Brew, whose leadership has prioritised projects that directly enhance learning outcomes and empower vulnerable communities.

The donation also aligns strongly with Rotary International’s areas of focus, particularly basic education and literacy, with special attention to children with learning differences and special needs.
