Entrepreneur and founder Prince Amoabeng has expressed profound optimism for Ghana’s future following the successful graduation of the PK Amoabeng Scholars Program’s Cohort 2 over the weekend.
The programme, dedicated to mentoring and cultivating leadership qualities, released its newest batch of young leaders into the professional world.
Amoabeng emphasised that the initiative is built on the philosophy that leadership is a responsibility, not merely a title, and stressed that the graduates are equipped with the necessary tools for national impact.
In a reflective post marking the occasion, Prince Amoabeng shared his pride in the graduates, stating that the cohort’s journey reaffirms the programme’s core mission.
“Over the weekend, we marked the graduation of Cohort 2 of the PK Amoabeng Scholars Program, a moment that filled me with both pride and hope.”
He expressed confidence that the commitment to high standards shown by the graduates assures a promising path for the country:
“Every young leader who walked across that stage reminded me why this journey matters. Leadership is not a title; it’s a responsibility. And seeing these brilliant minds grow, challenge themselves, and commit to excellence assures me that Ghana’s future is in capable hands.”
The PK Amoabeng Scholars Program is known for its rigorous selection process and focus on holistic development, encompassing academic excellence, ethical decision-making, and community engagement.
In his final admonition, Amoabeng charged the graduating scholars to maintain discipline and focus as they transition into the professional sphere. He reiterated that success is tied to purpose and service.
“To our Scholars, congratulations. Carry the lessons with you, stay curious, stay disciplined, and above all, stay of service. The world rewards those who show up with purpose.”
The program aims to nurture “ethical, courageous leaders”, providing them with mentorship in various sectors, including finance, technology, public service, and entrepreneurship.
Amoabeng concluded by acknowledging the crucial support system that sustains the initiative, including the mentors who dedicate their time and the financial partners who fund the scholarships:
“To our mentors, partners, and donors, thank you for believing in this vision. Your support continues to shape the next generation of ethical, courageous leaders.”
The graduation of Cohort 2 signals the continuation of the PK Amoabeng Scholars Program’s mandate to invest in Ghana’s most promising young talent.
