Presidential encounter: 23 Things Mahama says he has done

In a highly anticipated encounter with the media at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, September 10, President John Dramani Mahama presented a comprehensive account of his administration’s achievements since taking office in January.

Breaking down his progress, the President detailed a list of initiatives, projects, and reforms he says have been successfully implemented.

The briefing, which lasted over two hours, was a direct effort to address the public on his government’s performance and vision, covering a wide range of topics from economic stability and infrastructure development to social interventions and governance reforms.

Joy FM’s Kojo Akoto Boateng summarises the completed initiatives into 23 key points from the President’s answers after hours of grilling by journalists:

               •             Slashed nuisance taxes and rescued the power sector, averting an energy crisis.
