Police arrest 4 people for killing security man at Gomoa Akoti

The Gomoa Ojobi District Police Command has arrested four suspects who killed a security man at a One District One Factory (1D1F) company after he tried to prevent them from stealing coils in ECG Transformers and other metals.

The main suspects are Samuel Larbie, a 28-year-old businessman, and Wisdom Sosu, a 32-year-old motor mechanic, while Nabil Mohammed and Mahmoud Kardi were the ones who bought the deceased’s mobile phone and coils and copper wires taken from two ECG Transformers.

It would be recalled that Adom News reported on June 30, 2025, that a 65-year-old security man stationed at a company in Gomoa, Akoti Alexander Kwaku Boateng, was suffocated to death after he tried to prevent robbers from robbing from stealing.

The suspects tied his legs, knees and hands and covered his head with a polythene bag, suffocating him to death in the process.

According to the police, six robbers from Fetteh Kakraba stormed the 1D1F company, suffocated the security to death and stole items in two ECG transactions worth GHC 250,000.’

They also stole the deceased’s Infinix Smart 8 mobile phone valued at GHC 1,800.

Four of the robbers are at large.
