The much-anticipated 2025 PA Conference was officially launched on Monday, June 16, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, setting the stage for what promises to be the most impactful edition of the event yet.

Organised by FiveSixFive, the launch drew media representatives, stakeholders, and members of the assistant professional community.

In her remarks, Maame Ekua Gaisey, Managing Partner of FiveSixFive, announced that this year’s conference will take place on July 17 and 18 at the same venue under the theme “Growth for Cross-Border Relevance.”

The theme reflects the growing need for administrative professionals to adapt, lead, and stay relevant in an increasingly interconnected and fast-paced global work environment.

For the first time in its history, the PA Conference will span two full days—an upgrade inspired by feedback from past participants requesting more time for deeper engagements, practical sessions, and networking.

Since its launch in 2019, the PA Conference has evolved into a premier platform for recognising and empowering Personal Assistants (PAs), Executive Assistants (EAs), Project Coordinators, Administrative Officers, and related professionals across Ghana and beyond.

From its humble beginnings with just 49 delegates, the event has grown steadily and is expected to host over 300 participants this year.

Maame Gaisey highlighted the critical role of assistants in modern organisations, describing them as “the quiet power behind the scenes” and “the unseen architects of success.”

She stressed that even in an era shaped by digital transformation, the need for highly skilled, intuitive assistants remains vital.

“Properly aligned assistants,” she noted, “help leaders navigate the overwhelming flow of information and draw out relevant insights for strategic decision-making.”

This year’s speakers include: Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Presidential Advisor and Special Aide to the President of Ghana; Professor Robert Ebo Hinson, Pro Vice Chancellor of GTUC; Kojo Amissah, Strategy and Performance Consultant; Bunmi Pratt, Talent Development and Performance Management Expert; Papa Arkhurst, Leadership Enthusiast; Dr. May Wulff-Caesar, Clinical Psychologist; and Nixon Awua-Amoah, Human Capital Expert.

Each speaker is expected to bring depth, insight, and inspiration to the conference, enhancing its relevance and value.

Participants will engage with thought leaders and professionals from diverse fields, take part in high-impact sessions, and explore new tools and trends that are reshaping support roles in today’s workplace.

In closing her address, Maame Gaisey encouraged all administrative professionals—both present and across the continent—to seize the moment to learn and scale up.
