New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant and former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong, says Ghanaians are eager for change and ready to walk a new path, a journey he says he is prepared to undertake with them.
In a social media post on Sunday, January 4, Dr Acheampong described his entry into the Northern Region as he begins his campaign as a moment filled with gratitude and renewed purpose, shaped by recent engagements with residents across the northern parts of the country.
According to him, interactions with communities revealed a shared desire for a different direction, driven by hope, openness, and a willingness to move forward together.
“From community to community, the message has been clear: our people are ready, hopeful, and eager to walk a new path together,” he stated.
Dr Acheampong affirmed his readiness to journey alongside the people, stressing that leadership must be grounded in partnership, trust, and inclusiveness.
“I am ready to walk this journey with you. Step by step, hand in hand, building trust, strengthening our bonds, and putting people first,” he said.
He explained that his engagements in the region are not merely part of a campaign tour but represent a broader commitment to shared progress and collective responsibility.
The former minister also underscored the importance of unity and peace in achieving national goals, noting that the voices and aspirations of people in the Northern Region matter.
His comments come as the race for the NPP flagbearership intensifies, with aspirants stepping up outreach efforts to connect with party members and the wider electorate across the country.
