The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ofoase-Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) and the family of Samuel Tei Mensah Nartey , popularly known as DJ Awana, following his death.

As a former employee of MGL, Oppong Nkrumah expressed that the loss is a significant blow not only to the family but also to the organisation.

He conveyed his sympathies during an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem.

DJ Awana, one of the longest-serving members of staff at Multimedia Group, passed away on Sunday, April 6, after a short illness.

He died at the 37 Military Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment.

In the wake of his death, tributes and condolences have poured in from his colleagues and Ghanaians alike, many of whom have shared fond memories of the late DJ.
