The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Pius Enam Hadzide, has commended the District Assembly Common Fund for their support to the National Youth Authority in constructing 10 Youth Resource Centres across the country.
He made it known that the fund has been very instrumental in executing the projects in the various regions. Enam Hadzide further appealed to the secretariat for more support to aid in the completion of all the 10 Youth Resources Centres.
He made this appeal during an inspection and media engagement at the Youth Resource Centre being constructed at Axim in the Western Region.
He disclosed that six out of the 10 Resource Centres being built are 84% on average completed. He further debunked information circulating the media space that NYA has squandered some 20 million US dollars on these projects, describing it as misinformation.
He made it clear that the National Youth Authority is a transparent government agency and extended an invitation to media outlets still seeking clarification on the projects.
