The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has reaffirmed the Authority’s dedication to empowering young people through skills training, capacity-building programmes, and infrastructure development.

Speaking at the International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) Ghana 2025, he urged the youth to take full advantage of the upcoming National Apprenticeship Programme, which will soon be launched by H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

This initiative, he noted, will provide young people with the necessary vocational and technical skills to enhance their employability and economic independence.

During his address, Ayariga outlined several key initiatives being undertaken by the NYA to tackle youth unemployment and foster innovation.

He emphasised that the Authority remains open to collaborations and partnerships with organisations that share its mission of equipping young people with essential skills for success.

“Our doors are open to all youth-related programmes and initiatives that align with our vision of building a skilled and self-reliant generation,” he stated.
