NSMQ 2025: GSTS stuns 8-time champions PRESEC in thrilling comeback to reach semi-final

The 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) produced one of its most dramatic moments yet as Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) staged a stunning comeback to eliminate record holders and eight-time champions, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon, from the national championship.

The quarter-final contest, which also featured Our Lady of Grace SHS, kept spectators at the edge of their seats throughout, but it was GSTS who rose to the occasion in the final round to claim a sensational victory by a single point.
