NPP Members of Parliament have as a matter of urgency demanded the removal of Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta from the post of Ghana’s Finance Minister.

Addressing journalists in Parliament in a press conference, MP for Asante Akim North, Andy Appiah-Kubi who spoke on behalf of the majority in Parliament further added that not only are they asking for the immediate removal of Ken Ofori-Atta but also the removal of the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, Charles Adu-Boahene from post as well.

Hon. Andy Appiah Kubi added that the failure of President Akufo-Addo to comply with their demand, the majority in Parliament will boycott all government business in Parliament and also boycott the Budget Reading which has been scheduled for 16th November 2022.
